VeraBank Recognized as Hutto Chamber of Commerce Member of the Year

February 27, 2025

Henderson-based VeraBank has been named “2024 Member of the Year” by the Hutto Area Chamber of Commerce. The annual awards program recognizes organizational strength and its impact on key community priorities.

“This recognition highlights VeraBank’s commitment to supporting local businesses, cultivating economic development and investing back in the communities we proudly serve,” says Paul Gerling, senior executive vice president, chief banking officer and regional chair.

The businesses nominated for this year’s awards were recognized at the Hutto Area Chamber of Commerce’s 2025 Gala and Awards Banquet held at Kalahari Resorts in Round Rock. The event serves as a vital fundraiser supporting the chamber’s ongoing initiatives aimed at strengthening the local community and economy.

“This award is the pinnacle of our community’s unity, underscored by the influential guidance of our own Joe Gonzalez, chairman of the Hutto Chamber board,” says Jonathan Voight, executive vice president and regional president. “Joe’s impact to both VeraBank and the broader community has been instrumental in driving us toward meaningful progress together.”

Established in 1930, VeraBank serves 19 counties in East, Central and Southeast Texas with a network of 39 branches.
