On July 20, Harlingen-based Texas Regional Bank held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the official opening of its first banking center in San Antonio. This marks the bank’s 29th location in Texas and 10th in the Hill Country region. The branch is located at 18460 Blanco Rd. The ceremony was attended by the North San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, Texas Regional Bank board member Bill Elliff and Texas House of Representatives Steven Alison, Mark Dorazio and Misty Spears.
“The Texas Regional Bank Hill Country region has been expanding by one branch a year since coming to the area in 2017,” notes Lance Spruiell, Hill Country division president. “We are excited to see this progress and bring our banking brand to San Antonio.”
Established in 1987, Texas Regional Bank operates banking centers across the Rio Grande Valley, Texas Hill Country, Houston and the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.
