Harlingen-based Texas Regional Bank has expanded its branch network in Tarrant County by opening a new banking center in Southlake. With this expansion, the bank has 31 banking centers across Texas, with six in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. Mimi Tran, Southlake market president, will lead this new location, which will include the company’s new private banking division.
Tran joined Texas Regional Bank in January as private banking division manager and Southlake market president. She brings more than 20 years of banking and private banking experience to her role.
“Mimi has recruited the most talented group of bankers who stand ready to meet and anticipate the needs of our clients while always striving to become trusted advisors and offer a superior banking experience,” says J.J. Gomez, Dallas market president.
Texas Regional Bank’s Southlake banking center, located at 2025 W. Southlake Blvd., hosted a grand opening on October 26, which included a ribbon-cutting ceremony by the Southlake and Colleyville Chamber of Commerce.
Established in 1987, Texas Regional Bank operates branches across the Rio Grande Valley, Texas Hill Country, Houston and Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.
