Texas Regional Bank Appoints Costa Senior Advisor, Director of International Wealth Management

Michael CostaHarlingen-based TRB Trust & Wealth Management, a division of Texas Regional Bank, has named Michael Costa senior advisor and director of international wealth management. He will oversee and expand TRB’s international wealth platform, supporting clients with customized investment, trust and private banking solutions. Based primarily at the bank’s corporate headquarters in Harlingen, Costa will also maintain an office in Central Texas, where he has strong roots in San Marcos.

Costa brings more than 20 years of experience in wealth management, trust administration and private banking. He most recently served as director of operations and compliance for financial and insurance services at Lone Star National Bank, for which he strengthened integration across wealth, trust and insurance. Earlier, he directed the bank’s wealth management and trust division, guiding its development into a well-established platform. His career also includes more than a decade with Wells Fargo, for which he worked extensively with high-net-worth clients across Texas and Mexico.

Costa has also been active in numerous community organizations, including the Brownsville Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club of North Brownsville and United Way of Southern Cameron County.

Established in 2010, Texas Regional Bank has more than 30 banking centers across the Rio Grande Valley, Texas Hill Country, Houston and the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.
