Texas National Bank Promotes Crain to Vice President

March 2, 2022

Sheila CrainSheila Crain has been promoted to vice president at Sweetwater-based Texas National Bank. She began her community banking career when she joined Texas National Bank in 2000. During her time with the bank, she has held a variety of positions, including new account representative, lending assistant and loan officer. In her new role as vice president, Crain will continue providing for the borrowing needs of the bank’s customers while also overseeing the bank’s new accounts operations, ensuring proper training of new accounts employees and overseeing department processes.

“Sheila is an incredible asset to our bank team and to her customers, and she is most deserving of this promotion,” says Mike Fernandez, president and CEO. “She is a true team player, and we are confident in her ability to add value in her new role. We are excited to recognize her with this promotion.”

Established in 1995, Texas National Bank has assets of $170 million and operates banking offices in Sweetwater and Tuscola.
