September 7, 2021

Jack Griggs, chairman, and Steve Mack, CEO, have announced the appointment of Jim Kreuz to serve as chief lending officer at Boerne-based Texas Heritage Bank. Additional officers recently appointed are Katie Borne, CPA, controller, and Tim Rehkopf, consumer lending officer.

Kreuz is a career banking professional who has served in the San Antonio market for the past 16 years as market president for a large regional bank. He joins Texas Heritage Bank with oversight of six lenders and the credit underwriting group. A University of Texas graduate, he has a distinguished career as a commercial lender and market leader.

Borne, joins the bank after a stint in public accounting with Ernst & Young. She has an undergraduate degree in accounting from Louisiana State University and master’s degree in accounting from the University of Texas–San Antonio.

Rehkopf is a graduate of Baylor University with a degree in finance and entrepreneurship. He most recently worked for First Baptist Dallas, serving in a variety of business roles. Prior to that, he served at a bank in Waco.

“We are thrilled to welcome Jim, Katie and Tim to our growing team of banking professionals,” Mack says. “Jim will serve a critical role of leading our lending and business development team. Katie and Tim both bring youth and needed expertise in important roles with the bank.”
