Texas Bank and Trust Promotes Wyatt, Roddy and Johns

December 12, 2024

Longview-based Texas Bank and Trust announced three promotions in December.

Jeff WyattJeff Wyatt has been promoted to chief technology officer. He joined the bank in 2017 as assistant chief information officer. Prior to that, he served Coastal States Bank as an IT systems consultant and previously served the bank as its chief information officer and information security officer.

Wyatt holds a BS degree in industrial and systems engineering from Georgia Tech University and an MS degree in information security and assurance from Western Governors University. He is a certified information systems security professional. Active in the community, he is a member of Dallas’ Vocal Majority barbershop chorus. He has previously served on the worship team at Fellowship Bible Church in Dallas, as worship leader for Resurrection Christian Community Church in Hilton Head, South Carolina, and as a board member of Hilton Head Christian Academy, also in Hilton Head, South Carolina.

Jesse RoddyJesse Roddy is now senior vice president/network and systems architecture manager. He joined the bank in 2023 and has 22 years of experience in information technology in both service-provider and enterprise environments.

He holds an associate’s degree in WAN technology from Tyler Junior College. Roddy is a supporter of causes that promote autism awareness and acceptance, as well as multiple animal rescues. He also assists his wife with equine therapy for special-needs children in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex and East Texas.

Roxane JohnsRoxane Johns has been promoted to business development officer. She joined Texas Bank and Trust in its treasury management division in 2021 as a customer service specialist.

Johns served as president of the Pine Tree Primary PTA for the 2023–24 school year and as a volunteer for Longview Community Ministries and Pine Tree Parkway for Literacy Army. She also provides financial literacy education at Pine Tree High School and Hallsville West Elementary School on behalf of Junior Achievement.

Established in 1958, Texas Bank and Trust Co. operates 21 full-service branches throughout East Texas and the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.
