Strange Joins American National Bank & Trust as Senior Vice President of Mortgage Lending

Philip StrangeWichita Falls-based American National Bank & Trust announced that it has hired Philip Strange to serve as senior vice president/mortgage lending. With nearly 30 years in the mortgage industry, he brings a wealth of experience in community bank mortgage division start-ups, process improvements and customer-focused lending. In his new role, he will specialize in employee development, business growth and enhancing the mortgage lending experience.

Prior to joining American National Bank & Trust, Strange served in a similar position at First State Bank for nearly 12 years. Strange earned a BBA degree in accounting from the Texas Christian University Neeley School of Business. He is also a graduate of the Texas Bankers Association Management Development program and holds a certificate from the Maxwell Leadership program, which focuses on leadership philosophy, performance and potential.

“With nearly 30 years in the mortgage industry, Philip has centered his career around community bank mortgage division start-ups and leading the teams to operate more efficiently, staying abreast of the ever-changing mortgage landscape and placing the customer at the center of every relationship,” says Brad Davidson, executive vice president the bank’s mortgage loan division.

Established in 1976, American National Bank & Trust operates 11 branches in North Texas and the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.
