Dallas-based PlainsCapital Bank recently announced that Travis Smart has joined its Fort Worth lending team as senior vice president/senior commercial loan officer. He will be based at the bank’s downtown Fort Worth location on Houston St.
Smart brings more than 12 years of experience in commercial banking. Before joining PlainsCapital Bank, he served as vice president/commercial banker at Trinity Bank for more than five years. Prior to that, he spent nearly seven years at Frost Bank holding various commercial lending roles, including associate relationship manager, relationship banking officer and assistant vice president/commercial banker.
Smart graduated magna cum laude from Texas Tech University with a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting.
