Several Texas Financial Institutions Named ‘Top 100 Places to Work’ by Dallas Morning News

November 18, 2020

Terrell-based American National Bank of Texas, one of the oldest independently owned banks in Texas, has made The Dallas Morning News’ “Top 100 Places to Work 2020” list in the large-company category. This is the 11th time the bank has achieved this significant recognition as a top employer in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. In addition, these companies within the financial services industries also made the list: PrimeLending, A PlainsCapital Co.; Capital One; Jack Henry & Associates Inc.; and USAA.

The Dallas Morning News’ “Top 100 Places to Work” is an annual award that anonymously surveys employees on several categories, including leadership, communication, values, ethics and company culture. In 2020, 3,158 companies were invited to participated and more than 95,937 employees were surveyed.

“We’re honored to have made this list again, especially since it’s our employees who put us at the top,” says Robert Hulsey, president and CEO of American National Bank of Texas. “They always go above and beyond to serve our customers—this year is no exception—and we are extremely appreciative they are on our team. I’d also like to congratulate all of the companies on the list that are committed to investing in, supporting and serving North Texans and our local communities.”

“In early March, our teams transitioned from 27 percent full-time work from home to 96 percent full-time work from home within four days, and they did it with no disruption to our customers,” says David Foss, president and CEO of Monett, Missouri-based Jack Henry & Associates Inc. “Our customer satisfaction scores actually went up during the expansion to work-from-home status.”
