Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

September 3–9, 2023

Branches

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Wells Fargo Bank NA, based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to establish a branch at 1133 University Dr. in College Station.

The OCC reports that West Texas National Bank, based in Midland, has applied to establish a branch at 300 IH-27 in Plainview.

The OCC reports that Extraco Banks NA, based in Temple, has applied to relocate a branch of Guaranty Bank and Trust Co., Member Extraco Banks, from 8th and Main St. in Gatesville to 2501 S. Hwy 36 in Gatesville.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by TexasBank, based in Brownwood, to establish a branch at 139 College Park Dr. in Weatherford.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, to establish a branch at 10739 N. Freeway, Ste. A, in Houston.

The TDB reports that Coleman County State Bank, based in Coleman, has applied to establish a branch at 610 S. Abe St., Ste. D, in San Angelo.

The TDB reports that Texas Partners Bank, based in San Antonio, has applied to establish a branch at 1922 State Hwy. 46 W in New Braunfels.

The TDB reports that Farmers and Merchants Bank, based in De Leon, has applied to establish a branch at 508 E. Central in Comanche.
