Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

September 24–30, 2023

Branches

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by JPMorgan Chase Bank NA, based in Columbus, Ohio, to establish a branch at the northwest corner of W. Little York Rd. and N. Houston Rosslyn Rd. in Houston.

The OCC reports that The Yoakum National Bank, based in Yoakum, has applied to establish a branch at 22101 Westheimer Pkwy. in Katy.

The OCC reports that Trustmark National Bank, based in Jackson, Mississippi, has established a branch at 1070 Evergreen Circle, Ste. 100, in The Woodlands.

The TDB reports that Bank of the West, based in Grapevine, has established a branch at 7401 FM 2147 in Horseshoe Bay.

The TDB reports that Western Bank, based in Lubbock, has established a branch at 11717 Slide Rd. in Lubbock.

The TDB reports that Texas Partners Bank, based in San Antonio, has applied to establish a branch at 1922 State Hwy. 46 W in New Braunfels.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by First Community Bank, based in Corpus Christi, to establish a branch at 1115 E. Sinton St., Lot 1, in Sinton.

The TDB reports that Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, has applied to establish the following branches: 1912 Parker Rd. in Carrollton and 708 W. Rosedale St. in Fort Worth.
