Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

September 17–23, 2023

Branches

The OCC reports that First National Bank Texas, based in Killeen, has applied to establish the following branches: 4107 Fry Rd. in Katy and 1015 Hwy. 80 in San Marcos.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Farmers and Merchants Bank, based in De Leon, to establish a branch at 508 E. Central in Comanche.

The TDB reports that First Community Bank, based in Corpus Christi, has applied to establish a branch at 1115 E. Sinton St., Lot 1, in Sinton.

The TDB reports that American Bank of Commerce, based in Wolfforth, has applied to establish a branch at 11401 Slide Rd. in Lubbock.

The TDB reports that Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, has applied to establish a branch at 860 S. Preston Rd. in Prosper.

The TDB reports that Harmony Bank, based in Dallas, has applied to establish a branch at 5000 Maple Ave. in Dallas.

The TDB reports that Prosperity Bank, based in El Campo, has applied to relocate the following branches: from 100 E. California St. in Gainesville to 201 E. California St. in Gainesville and from 3401 Northland Dr. in Austin to 3301 Northland Dr. in Austin.
