Michael Scott has been hired by San Antonio-based Jefferson Bank to serve as senior vice president, mortgage lender/sales manager at the bank’s office in Austin. He will lead recruitment efforts of the bank’s growing Austin mortgage office and will be responsible for generating residential mortgages.
With more than 37 years of financial services experience, Scott previously worked as manager of secondary marketing, senior loan originator, and most recently, loan production manager at Capstar Lending LLC. He earned both his BBA and MBA degrees from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas–Austin.
