San Antonio-based Stouffer and Associates Expands Valuation Practice Into Houston and Dallas/Fort Worth

In October, real estate appraisal and consulting firm Stouffer & Associates LLP announced the expansion of its property valuation services into the Houston and Dallas/Fort Worth markets. With existing offices in San Antonio, Austin and Boerne, Stouffer is now equipped to provide appraisal services throughout Texas.

“We have been blessed with a great group of appraisers and staff and we are excited about opening our fourth and fifth locations,” says Managing Partner Blair Stouffer, MAI, SRA, LREB. He has been in the appraisal business since 1978 and opened the first Stouffer office in 1985. With the newest additions, Stouffer & Associates has 10 MAI appraisers on staff with several others nearing completion of this highly acclaimed designation within the appraisal industry.

Marty SalinasArturo M. “Marty” Salinas will serve as Houston’s managing director. He is a designated member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI) and a certified general appraiser with more than 15 years of continuous valuation experience. He joined Stouffer & Associates in 2021. While he has recently focused his attention on the regional Houston area, Salinas has experience appraising properties in 15 states and several locations throughout Mexico. He is specialized in appraising income-producing properties, has completed the Argus Enterprise software certification and is adept at appraising institutional core properties.

Ian GrigarIan M. Grigar has been tapped as managing director for the firm’s Dallas/Fort Worth region. He is a designated member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI) and a certified general appraiser with more than 15 years of continuous valuation experience. Grigar joined Stouffer & Associates in 2021. His valuation experience includes providing clients with a variety of valuation perspectives in 31 states. In addition to lending institutions, he has been called upon throughout his career to provide appraisal services in federal bankruptcy court and for ad valorem tax protest purposes. Additionally, his valuation work has been reviewed and approved by three of the largest international accounting firms. Grigar began appraising real estate in Dallas/Fort Worth in 2006 with a boutique valuation firm. Prior to joining Stouffer & Associates, he was an appraiser at a national full-service valuation and transaction advisory firm.

Stouffer & Associates specializes in all types of commercial appraisal assignments in addition to litigation support and residential assignments. The company also has a large farm and ranch division.
