Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC).

January 16–22, 2022

Home Offices

The OCC reports that Legacy Trust Co. National Association, based in Houston, has applied to relocate its home office from 1801 Smith St., Ste. 1900, in Houston to 1415 Louisiana, Ste. 1900, in Houston.

Branches

The OCC reports that Lone Star National Bank, based in Pharr, has established a branch at 4500 N. 10th St., Ste. 315, in McAllen.

The OCC reports that Wells Fargo Bank National Association, based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, has applied to establish a branch at 7900 Woodbridge Pkwy. in Sachse.

The OCC reports that First National Bank of Hereford, based in Hereford, has applied to establish a branch at 8700 FM 2219 in Amarillo.

The OCC reports that Bank of Brenham National Association, based in Brenham, has applied to establish a branch at 3030 University Dr., Ste. 200, in College Station.

The OCC reports that Guaranty Bank & Trust National Association, based in Mt. Pleasant, has applied to relocate a branch from 1213 RR 620 S in Lakeway to 1008 RR 620 S, Ste. 110, in Lakeway.

The TDB reports that Texas First Bank, based in Texas City, has established a branch at 6363 Phelan Blvd. in Beaumont.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Texas Security Bank, based in Dallas, to establish a branch at 2102 E. State Hwy. 114 in Southlake.

The TDB reports that Citizens State Bank, based in Woodville, has applied to establish a branch at 2313 Timber Shadows, Ste. 102, in Kingwood.

January 9–15, 2022

Branches

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by JPMorgan Chase Bank National Association, based in Columbus, Ohio, to establish the following branches: the northwest corner of Williams Dr. (FM 2338) and Wildwood Dr. in Georgetown; and the northeast corner of Woodall Rodgers Frwy. and N. Akard St. in Dallas.

The TDB reports that Independent Bank, based in McKinney, has established a branch at 900 N. US Hwy. 75 in Denison.

The TDB reports that United Texas Bank, based in Dallas, has applied to establish a branch at 10803 Preston Rd. in Dallas.

January 2–8, 2022

Mergers and Acquisitions

The TDB reports that Texas Bank, based in Brownwood, has completed its merger with Texas Bank Financial, based in Weatherford. The combined banks will operate as TexasBank.

Main Offices

The OCC reports that First National Bank Texas, based in Killeen, has applied to move its main office from 507 N. Gray in Killeen to an existing branch at 901 E. Central Texas Expwy. in Killeen.

Branches

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Wells Fargo Bank National Association, based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to establish a branch at the intersection of FM 407 and McMakin Rd. in Bartonville. The agency also reports that it has approved an application by Wells Fargo to relocate a branch from 109 N. San Saba St. in San Antonio to 106 S. St. Marys in San Antonio.

The OCC reports that First National Bank Texas, based in Killeen, has established a branch at 1821 S. Valley Mills Dr. in Waco.

The TDB reports that Citizens State Bank, based in Woodville, has applied to establish a branch at 2313 Timber Shawdows, Ste. 102, in Kingwood.

December 26, 2021–January 1, 2022

Mergers and Acquisitions

The OCC reports that Home Bank National Association, based in Lafayette, Louisiana, has applied to acquire Texan Bank National Association, based in Houston.

The TDB reports that Texas Regional Bank, based in Harlingen, has applied to acquire AccessBank Texas, based in Denton.

Conversions

The TDB reports that Texas Exchange Bank, based in Crowley, has converted from a state savings bank to a state-chartered bank.

Branches

The TDB reports that Ciera Bank, based in Graham, has established a branch at 116 E. Renfro St. in Burleson.

The TDB reports that Texas Security Bank, based in Dallas, has applied to establish a branch at 2102 E. State Hwy. 114 in Southlake.

December 19–25, 2021

Conversions

The TDB reports that Bank of Houston, based in Houston, has converted from a national association to a state-chartered bank.

Branches

The OCC reports that Wells Fargo Bank National Association, based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, has applied to relocate a branch from 1001 Hwy. 146 S in La Porte to 1307 W. Fairmont Pkwy. in La Porte.

The TDB reports that Southside Bank, based in Tyler, has established a branch at 5665 Dallas Pkwy., Ste. 100, in Frisco.

The TDB reports that Texas Partners Bank, based in San Antonio, has established a branch at 1717 W. 6th St., Ste. 110, in Austin.

December 12–18, 2021

Conversion

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Texas Exchange Bank, based in Crowley, to convert to a state-chartered bank under the name Texas Exchange Bank SSB.

Branches
