Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC).

June 20–26, 2021

Conversions

The TDB reports that Ozona National Bank, based in Ozona, has converted to a Texas state-chartered bank under the name Ozona Bank.

Home Office Relocation

The TDB reports that Susser Bank has applied to relocate its home office from 500 Harwood in Bedford to 100 Crescent Ct., Ste. 575, in Dallas.

Branches

The OCC reports that Commercial Bank of Texas National Association, based in Nacogdoches, has applied to establish a branch at 321 N. Central Expy., Ste. 100, in McKinney.

The OCC reports that Guaranty Bank & Trust National Association, based in Mt. Pleasant, has relocated a branch from 5944 Luther Lane, Ste. 100, in Dallas to 5910 N. Central Expy., Ste. 150, in Dallas.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Inwood National Bank, based in Dallas, to relocate a branch from 1551 S. Buckner in Dallas to 1605 S. Buckner Blvd. in Dallas.

June 13–19, 2021

Mergers and Acquisitions

The TDB reports that Roscoe State Bank, based in Roscoe, has applied to merge with Cornerstone Home Lending, based in Houston, under the name Cornerstone Capital Bank SSB.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by First National Bank of Aspermont, based in Aspermont, to purchase a branch from Vista Bank, based in Dallas. The branch is located at 231 S. Central Ave. in Hamlin.

Conversions

The TDB reports that Texas Capital Bank, based in Dallas, has applied to convert to a national association under the name Texas Capital Bank NA.

Branches

The TDB reports that Happy State Bank, based in Happy, has applied to establish the following branches: 2727 W. 7th St. in Fort Worth; and 559 IH 35 in Round Rock.

The TDB reports that Jefferson Bank, based in San Antonio, has applied to establish a branch at 8826 Bandera Rd. in San Antonio.

The OCC reports that Lone Star National Bank, based in Pharr, has established a branch at 129 FM 3167 Rd., Unit 10, in Rio Grande City.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Newfirst National Bank, based in El Campo, to relocate a branch from 609 N. Wells in Edna, to 711 N. Wells in Edna.

June 6–12, 2021

Branches

The OCC reports that Wells Fargo Bank National Association, based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, has established a branch at 5440 El Dorado Blvd. in Houston.

The OCC reports that Bank of America National Association, based in Charlotte, North Carolina, has applied to establish a branch at 2726 E. Berry St. in Fort Worth.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Texas National Bank, based in Mercedes, to establish a branch at 4345 N. Expwy. 77/83, Ste. D-800, in Brownsville.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by The First State Bank, based in Abernathy, to establish a branch at 100 E. Hamilton St. in Stamford.

The TDB reports that Security State Bank & Trust, based in Fredericksburg, has established a branch at 15050 Texas 29 in Liberty Hill.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Falcon International Bank, based in Laredo, to establish a branch at 134 S. U.S. Hwy. 83 in Zapata.

Mergers and Acquisitions

The TDB reports that Happy State Bank, based in Happy, has completed its acquisition of First National Bank of Tahoka, based in Tahoka.

May 23–29, 2021

Home Office

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by WestStar Bank, based in El Paso, to relocate its home office from 500 N. Mesa in El Paso to 601 N. Mesa in El Paso.

Branches

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Austin Bank National Association, based in Jacksonville, to establish a branch at 26400 Kuykendahl Rd., Ste. A110, in Tomball.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Oakwood Bank, based in Dallas, to establish a branch at 6900 Snider Plaza in Dallas.

May 16–22, 2021

Branches

The OCC reports that PNC Bank National Association, based in Wilmington, Delaware, has established the following branches: 3311 E. Broad St., Ste. 101, in Mansfield; 3630 W. University Dr. in McKinney; and 4001 Matlock Rd. in Arlington.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Bank of America National Association, based in Charlotte, North Carolina, to establish a branch at 2522 W. Grand Pkwy. N in Katy.

The OCC reports that Texas Heritage National Bank, based in Daingerfield, has applied to establish a branch at 4801 Spring Valley Rd., Ste. 110, in Farmers Branch.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Plains State Bank, based in Humble, to establish a branch at 5452 Hwy. 105, Ste. 100, in Conroe.

The TDB reports that Falcon International Bank, based in Laredo, has applied to establish a branch at 134 S. U.S. Hwy. 83 in Zapata.
