Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC).

October 24–30, 2021

Branches

The TDB reports that WestStar Bank, based in El Paso, has established a branch at 12160 Pebble Hills in El Paso.

The TDB reports that Security State Bank & Trust, based in Fredericksburg, has applied to establish a branch at 3973 W. Vickery Blvd., Ste. 102 and 103, in Fort Worth.

The TDB reports that Texas Regional Bank, based in Harlingen, has applied to establish a branch at 9821 Katy Fwy., Ste. 100, in Houston.

The TDB reports that Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, has applied to establish a branch at 2515 Inwood Rd. in Dallas.

Mergers and Acquisitions

The OCC reports that The Hondo National Bank, based in Hondo, has applied to merge with Community National Bank, based in Hondo, with the resulting bank to be named TXN Bank National Association.

Branches

The OCC reports that Wells Fargo Bank National Association, based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, has established a branch at 6445 FM 1463 Rd. in Katy.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by First National Bank Texas, based in Killeen, to establish a branch at 1821 S. Valley Mills Dr. in Waco.

The OCC reports that First National Bank of East Texas, based in Gilmer, has applied to establish a branch at 1701 NW Loop 281 in Longview.

The TDB reports that Texas Bank, based in Henderson, has established a branch at 1189 W. Van Alstyne Pkwy. in Van Alstyne.

The TDB reports that Texas Bank, based in Brownwood, has applied to establish a branch at 7400 Viscount Blvd. in El Paso.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Western Bank, based in Lubbock, to establish a branch at 8005 SW 34th Ave., Ste. A, in Amarillo.

The TDB reports that Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, has applied to establish the following branches: 2785 E. Eldorado Pkwy. in Little Elm and 2515 Inwood Rd. in Dallas.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Grandview Bank, based in Grandview, to establish a branch at 2500 S.W. Wilshire Blvd. in Burleson.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by R Bank, based in Round Rock, to establish a branch at 451 University Dr. in Fort Worth.

Mergers and Acquisitions

The TDB reports that Capital Bank of Texas, based in Carrizo Springs, has completed its merger with BAT Investments Inc., based in Austin.

Branches

The OCC reports that PNC Bank National Association, based in Wilmington, Delaware, has established a branch at 1860 Payne St. in Dallas.

The OCC reports that VeraBank National Association, based in Henderson, has applied to establish a branch at 1601 W. 6th St. in Austin and another branch at 1111 W. 6th St., Bldg. B, Ste. 200, in Austin.

The TDB reports that Oakwood Bank, based in Dallas, has established a branch at 6900 Snider Plaza in Dallas.

The TDB reports that Grandview Bank, based in Grandview, has applied to establish a branch at 2500 S.W. Wilshire Blvd. in Burleson.

The TDB reports that Western Bank, based in Lubbock, has applied to establish a branch at 8005 S.W. 34th Ave., Ste. A, in Amarillo.
