Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC).

February 8–14, 2026

Branches

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Commercial Bank of Texas NA, based in Nacogdoches, to establish a branch at 4215 Eastex Fwy. in Beaumont.

The OCC reports that The Huntington National Bank, based in Columbus, Ohio, has applied to establish a branch at 14025 Northwest Fwy. in Houston.

The TDB reports that Southside Bank, based in Tyler, has established a branch at 3701 FM 4 in Granbury.

The TDB reports that Texas Regional Bank, based in Harlingen, has established a branch at 21 Herff Rd. in Boerne.

February 1–7, 2026

Mergers and Acquisitions

The TDB reports that Prosperity Bank, based in El Campo, has completed its acquisition of Texas Partners Bank, based in San Antonio.

The TDB reports that Comerica Bank, based in Dallas, has completed its merger into Fifth Third Bank NA, based in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The TDB reports that Third Coast Bank, Humble, has completed its acquisition of Keystone Bank SSB, based in Bee Cave.

Branches

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Citizens National Bank, based in Cameron, to establish a branch at 317 S. Austin St. in Brenham.

The OCC reports that Fifth Third Bank NA, based in Cincinnati, Ohio, has applied to establish a branch at 17 Cowboys Way in Frisco.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Texas Financial Bank, based in Eden, to establish a branch at 6085 Campbell Rd. in Dallas.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Southside Bank, based in Tyler, to establish a branch at 626 W. Frontier Pkwy. in Celina.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, to establish a branch at 3501 Forest Hill Cir., Ste. 300, in Forest Hill.

The TDB reports that FirstBank Southwest, based in Amarillo, has applied to establish a branch at 301 15th St. in Canyon.

The TDB reports that First Financial Bank, based in Abilene, has applied to establish a branch at 865 S. 8th St. in Beaumont.

Mergers and Acquisitions

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Third Coast Bank, based in Humble, to acquire Keystone Bank SSB, based in Bee Cave.

The TDB reports that City Bank, based in Lubbock, has applied to acquire Bank of Houston, based in Houston.

Home Offices

The TDB reports that TexasBank, based in Brownwood, has relocated its home office from 400 Fisk Ave. in Brownwood to an existing branch at 4521 S. Hulen St. in Fort Worth. It will maintain the previous home office as a branch.

Branches

The OCC reports that First National Bank Texas, based in Killeen, has established a branch at 2407 W. Airport Fwy. in Irving.

The TDB reports that Bank of South Texas, based in McAllen, has established a branch at 7075 N. Expwy. 77, Ste. 4, in Olmito.

The TDB reports that it has approved applications by First Lockhart Bank, based in Lockhart, to establish the following branches: 3016 Independence Dr., Ste. 205, in New Braunfels, 316 Ave. E in Shiner and 1843 Water St. in Gonzales.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Southside Bank, based in Tyler, to establish a branch at 1410 Research Forest Dr. in The Woodlands.

January 18–24, 2026

Mergers and Acquisitions

The TDB reports that Maverick Bank, based in Fort Davis, has completed its merger with Tejas Bank, based in Monahans.

The TDB reports that Third Coast Bank, based in Humble, has applied to acquire Keystone Bank SSB, based in Bee Cave.

Branches

The OCC reports that PNC Bank NA, based in Wilmington, Delaware, has established a branch at 765 Fish Creek Thoroughfare, Ste. 250, Montgomery.

The OCC reports that First National Bank Texas, based in Killeen, has applied to establish a branch at 2250 Main St. NW in Los Lunas, New Mexico.

The TDB reports that Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, has established a branch at 202 E. Irving Blvd. in Irving. The agency also reports that Frost Bank has applied to establish a branch at 3501 Forest Hill Cir., Ste. 300, in Forest Hill.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Wells Fargo Bank NA, based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to relocate a branch from 22420 Community Dr. in New Caney to 21728 US Hwy. 59 in New Caney.

The TDB reports that Vista Bank, based in Dallas, has completed its merger into NBH Bank, based in Greenwood Village, Colorado.

The OCC reports that Hill Country National Bank, a branch of Llano National Bank, based in Llano, has established a branch at 400 Panther Hollow Dr. in Marble Falls.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Zions Bancorporation NA, based in Salt Lake City, Utah, to relocate a branch from 10001 Reunion Place Blvd. in San Antonio to 13432 San Pedro Ave. in San Antonio.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, to establish a branch at 1469 W. Campbell Rd. in Richardson.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by SouthWest Bank, based in Odessa, to establish a branch at 1004 N. Big Spring St., Ste. 100, in Midland.
