Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC).

July 17–23, 2022

Branches

The OCC reports that Bank of America NA, based in Charlotte, North Carolina, has applied to establish a branch at 1895 University Dr. in Frisco.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by First National Bank Albany/Breckenridge, based in Albany, to establish a branch at 2307 E. Hubbard in Mineral Wells.

The OCC reports that Broadway National Bank, based in San Antonio, has applied to establish a branch at 8201 Preston Rd., Ste. 715, in Dallas.

The TDB reports that Normangee State Bank, based in Normangee, has applied to establish a branch at 401 N. May St. in Madisonville.

Mergers and Acquisitions

The TDB reports that Pinnacle Bank, based in Fort Worth, has applied to acquire Crockett National Bank, based in San Antonio.

Conversions

The TDB reports that The First Liberty National Bank, based in Liberty, has applied to convert to a state bank charter under the name First Liberty Bank.

Branches

The OCC reports that Lone Star National Bank, based in Pharr, has established a branch at 3100 N. Indiana Ave. in Brownsville.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by U.S. Bank NA, based in Cincinnati, Ohio, to establish a branch at 15110 N. Dallas Pkwy. in Dallas.

The OCC reports that Wells Fargo Bank NA, based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, has applied to establish a branch at the southeast corner of Ronald Reagan Blvd. and Hwy. 29 in Leander.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by UBank, based in Huntington, to establish a branch at 6860 Dallas Pkwy., Ste. 110, in Plano.

The TDB reports that Western Bank, based in Lubbock, has applied to establish a branch at the northeast corner of Kermit St. and W. 10th St. in Plainview.

The TDB reports that Normangee State Bank, based in Normangee, has applied to establish a branch at 401 N. May St. in Madisonville.

The TDB reports that Chappell Hill Bank, based in Chappell Hill, has applied to establish a branch at 1400 Blalock Rd. in Houston.

The TDB reports that Peoples Bank, based in Lubbock, has applied to relocate a branch from 112 W. Hwy. 380 in Princeton to 100 Cole St. in Princeton.

The TDB reports that Prosperity Bank, based in El Campo, has applied to relocate a branch from 620 N. Grant St. in Odessa to 600 N. Texas Ave. in Odessa.

The OCC reports that American Bank NA, based in Corpus Christi, has applied to acquire TexStar National Bank, based in Universal City.

The OCC reports that The Commercial National Bank of Brady, based in Brady, has completed its acquisition of a branch from Anthem Bank & Trust, based in Plaquemine, Louisiana. The branch is located at 8110 W. FM 1431 in Granite Shoals.

The OCC reports that Woodforest National Bank, based in The Woodlands, has established a branch at 800 S. Hwy. 287 in Decatur.

The OCC reports that American National Bank & Trust, based in Wichita Falls, has applied to establish a branch at 409 N. Oak, Ste. 220, in Roanoke.

The OCC reports that VeraBank NA, based in Henderson, has applied to establish a branch at W. State Hwy. 71 in Bastrop.

The TDB reports that Western Bank, based in Lubbock, has established a branch at 4800 Lexington Square in Amarillo.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Jefferson Bank, based in San Antonio, to establish a branch at 1900 Broadway St., Ste. 100, in San Antonio.

The TDB reports that it has approved applications by Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, to establish the following branches: 3128 Forest Lane in Dallas and 3100 Independence Pkwy., Ste. 100, in Plano.

Mergers and Acquisitions

The OCC and the TDB report that The First National Bank of Kemp, based in Kemp, has completed its acquisition of First State Bank, based in Rice.

The TDB reports that Texas Regional Bank, based in Harlingen, has completed its acquisition of AccessBank Texas, based in Denton.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Allegiance Bank, based in Houston, to merge with Community Bank of Texas NA, based in Beaumont.

Branches

The OCC reports that JPMorgan Chase Bank NA, based in Columbus, Ohio, has applied to establish a branch at the northwest corner of W. Little York Rd. and Hwy. 6 N in Houston.

The OCC reports that Bank of America NA, based in Charlotte, North Carolina, has applied to establish a branch at 8616 S. IH 35 in Austin.

The OCC reports that it has approved applications by Community National Bank, based in Midland, to establish the following branches: 11807 Slide Rd. in Lubbock and 8040 E. Hwy. 191 in Odessa.

The OCC reports that Liberty National Bank, based in Lawton, Oklahoma, has applied to establish a branch at 5550 Granite Pkwy., Ste. 155 in Plano.

The OCC reports that First Financial Bank NA, based in Abilene, has applied to establish a branch at 119 N. LHS Dr. in Lumberton.

The OCC reports that The City National Bank of Sulphur Springs, based in Sulphur Springs, has applied to establish a branch at 101 W. Main St. in Atlanta, Texas.

The OCC reports that Wells Fargo Bank NA, based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, has applied to relocate a branch from 101 E. Nolte in Seguin to 350 N. Hwy. 123 Bypass in Seguin.

The OCC reports that First Financial Bank NA, based in Abilene, has applied to relocate the following branches: from 1716 Briarcrest Dr., Ste. 400, in Bryan to 2445 Harvey Mitchell Pkwy. S in College Station; and from 33 State Hwy. 75 N in Huntsville to 2506 Pine Shadows Dr. in Huntsville.

The TDB reports that Jefferson Bank, based in San Antonio, has applied to establish a branch at 1900 Broadway St., Ste. 100, in San Antonio.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Freedom Bank, based in Alamo, to establish a branch at 511 E. Gravis Ave. in San Diego, Texas.

The TDB reports that Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, has applied to establish a branch at 3100 Independence Pkwy., Ste. 100, in Plano.

The TDB reports that UBank, based in Huntington, has applied to establish a branch at 6860 Dallas Pkwy., Ste. 110, in Plano.

The TDB reports that Bank of Houston NA, based in Houston, has converted to a state charter as Bank of Houston.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by The National Bank of Texas at Fort Worth, based in Fort Worth, to convert to a state charter as NBT Financial Bank.

Branches

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by JPMorgan Chase Bank National Association, based in Columbus, Ohio, to establish a branch a the northwest corner of Maple Ave. and W. Mockingbird Lane in Dallas.

The OCC reports that it has approved applications by VeraBank National Association, based in Henderson, to establish the following branches: 200 River Point, Ste. 100, in Conroe and 1111 W. 6th St., Bldg. B, Ste. 200, in Austin.

The OCC reports that Legacy Trust Co. National Association, based in Houston, has relocated its main office from 1415 Louisiana, Ste. 1900, in Houston to 1801 Smith St., Ste. 1900, in Houston.

The TDB reports that it has approved applications by BOC Bank, based in McLean, to establish the following branches: 104 S. Main St. in Miami, Texas, and 315 N. Main St. in Shamrock.

The TDB reports that Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, has applied to establish a branch at 3128 Forest Lane in Dallas.

Mergers and Acquisitions

The TDB reports that Allegiance Bank, based in Houston, has applied to merge with Community Bank of Texas NA, based in Beaumont. The combined bank will be called Stellar Bank.

Name Change and Home Office Relocation

The TDB reports that Capital Bank of Texas has changed its name to PrimeBank of Texas. The agency also reports that the bank has relocated its home office from Carrizo Springs to 4301 Westbank Dr., Ste. 100C, in Austin.

Branches

The OCC reports that PNC Bank National Association, based in Wilmington, Delaware, has established a branch at 15727 Wallisville Rd., Ste. 180, in Houston.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, to establish a branch at 2231 Singleton Rd. in Dallas.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by PlainsCapital Bank, based in University Park, to establish a branch at 100 W. Mulberry St., Ste. 200, in Denton.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Western Bank, based in Lubbock, to establish a branch at 4800 Lexington Square in Amarillo.
