Poole Joins PlainsCapital Bank as Senior Vice President

June 30, 2022

Marcus PooleDallas-based PlainsCapital Bank has hired Marcus Q. Poole to serve on its Dallas commercial lending team as senior vice president at 3417 Gaston Ave., Ste. 150. He will work with manufacturers and distribution wholesalers, as well as professional, health care and service organizations.

Poole has 25 years of banking experience. He began his career as a management trainee and has held various leadership positions, including middle-market lender, business banking market manager and regional business banking manager. Poole received his bachelor’s degree from Alabama A&M University, where he also pursued his MBA degree. He is also a veteran of the U.S. Army.

“His in-depth banking experience and people-first attitude make him an excellent fit to work with PlainsCapital’s clients in Dallas and across Texas,” says Brent Raindl, Dallas region chairman.

Established in 1955, PlainsCapital Bank operates 58 Texas branches and employs approximately 1,100 associates.
