PlainsCapital Bank Welcomes DeHaan as Senior Vice President and Wealth Management Market Manager for Dallas Region

Kirt DeHaanDallas-based PlainsCapital Bank announced that Kirt DeHaan has joined The Private Bank at PlainsCapital as senior vice president/wealth management market manager for the Dallas region. He will be based at the Hilltop Plaza location in Dallas.

“Kirt brings many decades of experience and a deep understanding of fiduciary administration that will greatly benefit our clients and our team,” notes Tom Neville, head of private banking and wealth management. “His ability to navigate complex client needs with clarity and care will help us continue to build meaningful, long-term, multi-generational relationships in the Dallas market.”

DeHaan joins PlainsCapital Bank after nearly 25 years at Bank of America, for which he most recently served as managing director and regional fiduciary officer in Kansas City, Missouri. In that role, he oversaw fiduciary matters across multiple states, including Missouri, Kansas, Ohio and Texas, and was responsible for reviewing discretionary account actions and trust administration decisions. Prior to that, DeHaan served as senior vice president/senior trust officer, managing a portfolio of more than 150 trust accounts. Earlier in his career, he was vice president and private client counsel at UMB Bank and an associate attorney at Burnstein, Beck & Thomas, PC.

DeHaan earned an MBA degree and a JD degree from the University of Kansas and a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration from Graceland University.

Established in 1955, PlainsCapital Bank operates 55 Texas branches. Its major markets include Austin, Corpus Christi, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Lubbock, the Rio Grande Valley and San Antonio.
