Peoples Bank in Lubbock Announces 2023 Year-End Promotions

January 13, 2024

Larry Allen, CEO and chairman of Lubbock-based Peoples Bank, announced the following promotions at the end of 2023:

  • LaDonna Mild has been promoted to vice president. She joined the bank in 2021 and serves as lending assistant at the Shallowater branch.
  • Joshua Montoya has been promoted to vice president. He serves as credit analyst manager and has been with the bank for five years.
  • Travis Jones has been promoted to assistant vice president and account document manager. He has been with the bank for four years.
  • Grant Petty has been promoted to assistant vice president. He serves as a lender at Peoples Bank’s Seminole branch and has been with the bank since 2021.
  • Landry Allen has been promoted to banking officer. He serves as a deposit operations specialist. Allen worked at the bank through college and most recently returned in 2022.
  • Kristie Barnett has been promoted to banking officer. She has been with Peoples Bank for one year and serves as a customer account representative at the Princeton branch.
  • Jenny Deason has been promoted to banking officer. She has been with the bank for five years and serves as a teller at the Lorenzo branch.
  • Cailyn Riddle has been promoted to banking officer. She serves as a customer account representative at the bank’s 82nd St. branch. Riddle joined Peoples Bank in 2022.
  • Mindy Wilson has been promoted to banking officer. She has been with Peoples Bank for 11 years and serves as a teller at the 82nd St. branch.
  • Seth Zapata has been promoted to banking officer. He joined Peoples Bank in 2021 and serves as a loan document specialist.

Established in 1968 as Lorenzo State Bank and operating as Peoples Bank since 1999 (led by investors Larry Allen and Todd McKee), the bank has 12 locations serving West Texas, North Central Texas and the Panhandle.
