BancorpSouth Bank, a division of Tupelo, Mississippi-based Cadence Bank, and Operation HOPE have partnered to provide a free financial education and counseling program through a new HOPE Inside office in Dallas. The HOPE Inside office is part of the bank’s nearly $1.5 million investment to Operation HOPE for financial literacy programs over the next two years.

The HOPE Inside office, located within BancorpSouth’s location at 2412 W Kiest Blvd. in Dallas, offers financial counseling and information about credit and money management and homeownership to underserved residents. Oscar Torres Diaz, a certified financial counselor from Operation HOPE, is available to meet with individuals from 9 am. to 3 p.m. on Mondays through Fridays. All services are offered to the public free of charge.

HOPE Inside serves adults, youth, disaster survivors and its partners’ employees with financial dignity programming and coaching to equip them with the financial knowledge and tools to create a secure future. Operation HOPE will use the FDIC’s Money Smart curriculum at the HOPE Inside office as part of its financial education program.
BancorpSouth and Operation HOPE have been partners since 2017 with the launch of their HOPE Inside location in Memphis, Tennessee. Their new HOPE Inside in Dallas is one of six new locations opening across BancorpSouth’s footprint this year.
