Oklahoma-based First United Bank Hires Johnson as Chief Financial Officer

Brian JohnsonDurant, Oklahoma-based First United Bank has hired Brian Johnson to serve as chief financial officer, reporting directly to Greg Massey, chairman and CEO. Johnson will lead accounting, corporate finance and financial planning and analysis across the enterprise.

Johnson previously served as chief financial officer, head of corporate finance and global treasurer and head of corporate financial planning and analysis, and mergers and acquisitions at MoneyGram International in Dallas. Prior to that, he was managing director and vice president at Commerce Street Capital LLC. He also served notable tenures with Hudson Advisors/Lone Star Funds and Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. in New York.

Johnson holds a BS degree in mechanical engineering from Bucknell University and is a chartered financial analyst and certified valuation analyst.

“Brian’s extensive background positions him as a strategic partner for all our business lines, providing a comprehensive perspective at the holding company level,” Massey says.

Established in 1900, First United Bank operates more than 95 bank, mortgage and insurance locations across Oklahoma and Texas.
