Oklahoma-Based Blue Sky Bank Opens First Texas Branch in San Antonio

February 11, 2021

Pawhuska, Oklahoma-based Blue Sky Bank recently expanded into Texas with the opening of its San Antonio branch on January 21. The new branch, located at 13750 San Pedro Ave., Ste 275, is the bank’s seventh, and its first location in Texas.

“The expansion represents Blue Sky Bank’s dedication to serving entrepreneurs and their local businesses throughout the Southwest,” says Gentner Drummond, Blue Sky Bank principal. “We’re excited to bring our strong commitment to providing exceptional banking services to businesses in San Antonio.”

“As a former San Antonio resident, I’m extremely excited to bring Blue Sky Bank’s unique style of banking and tailored approach to helping small businesses in the San Antonio market,” says CEO Brian Schneider.

“In the more than 25 years I’ve been a commercial banker, I’ve never been more excited about the breadth and options of products I have at my disposal to help local San Antonio businesses,” says Lydia Gonzales, San Antonio market president.

Established in 1905, Blue Sky Bank operates six branches in Oklahoma, as well as its new San Antonio location.
