Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

October 6–12, 2024

Branches

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Southtrust Bank NA, based in George West, to establish a branch at 14090 Southwest Fwy., Ste. 220, in Sugar Land.

The OCC reports that PNC Bank NA, based in Wilmington, Delaware, has applied to establish a branch at 8031 Walnut Hill Ln. in Dallas.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Moody National Bank, based in Galveston, to relocate a branch from 400 W. 15th St. in Austin to 7900 Shoal Creek Blvd. in Austin.

The OCC reports that American Bank NA has applied to relocate a branch from 100 American Bank Plaza in Corpus Christi to 800 N. Shoreline Blvd. in Corpus Christi.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by First State Bank of Texas, based in Orange, to establish a branch at 25700 I-45 N., Ste. 180, in Spring.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by First State Bank, based in Gainesville, to establish a branch at 3427 W FM 120, Ste. 101, in Denison.
