Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

October 30–November 5, 2022

Branches

The OCC reports that Liberty National Bank, based in Lawton, Oklahoma, has established a branch at 5550 Granite Pkwy., Ste. 155, in Plano.

The OCC reports that American National Bank & Trust, based in Wichita Falls, has established a branch at 409 N. Oak, Ste. 220, in Roanoke.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Guaranty Bank & Trust NA, based in Mt. Pleasant, to establish a branch at 2415 Williams Dr. in Georgetown.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Lamar National Bank, based in Paris, to establish a branch at the southwest corner of W. White St. and Ferguson in Anna.

The OCC reports that Amerant Bank NA, based in Coral Gables, Florida, has relocated a branch from 3200 S. Shepherd Dr. in Houston to 2555 W. Holcombe Blvd. in Houston.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by First National Bank of Central Texas, based in Waco, to relocate a branch from 300 E. Elm St. in Hillsboro to 1298 Corsicana Hwy. in Hillsboro.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Jefferson Bank, based in San Antonio, to establish a branch at 114 W. 7th St., Ste. 100, in Austin.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by First Bank, based in Burkburnett, to establish a branch at 6836 Austin Center Blvd. in Austin.

The TDB reports that Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, has applied to establish the following branches: 2710 N. Belt Line Rd. in Irving and 1735 S. WW White Rd. in San Antonio.

The TDB reports that Grandview Bank, based in Grandview, has relocated a branch from 139 College Park Dr. in Weatherford to 1111 Santa Fe Dr. in Weatherford.
