Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

October 27–November 2, 2024

Mergers and Acquisitions

The OCC reports that Austin Bank NA, based in Jacksonville, has applied to acquire Chasewood Bank, 20333 State Hwy. 249 in Houston.

Loan Production Offices

The OCC reports that First National Bank Texas, based in Killeen, has applied to establish a loan production office at 641 N. Stanton Dr. in El Paso.

Branches

The OCC reports that Woodforest National Bank, based in The Woodlands, has applied to establish a branch in the HEB at 19529 Northpark Dr. in Kingwood.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Wells Fargo Bank NA, based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to relocate a branch from 501 W. Montgomery St. in Willis to 813 W. Montgomery St. in Willis.

The TDB reports that Alliance Bank Central Texas, based in Woodway, has established a branch at 3911 Williams Dr. in Georgetown.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, to establish a branch at 12420 Tillgang Pass, Bldg. 1, in Manor.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Maverick Bank, based in Fort Davis, to establish a branch at 3011 College Ave. in Snyder.

The TDB reports that One World Bank, based in Dallas, has applied to establish a branch at 1520 W. Sam Houston Pkwy. S in Houston.

The TDB reports that Texas Regional Bank, based in Harlingen, has applied to establish a branch at 21 Herff Rd. in Boerne.
