Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

October 23–29, 2022

Branches

The OCC reports that Wells Fargo Bank NA, based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, has established a branch at 7900 Woodbridge Pkwy. in Sachse.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by First Financial Bank NA, based in Abilene, to establish a branch at 119 N. LHS Dr. in Lumberton. The agency also reports that it has approved applications by First Financial Bank to relocate the following branches: from 1716 Briarcrest Dr., Ste. 400, in Bryan to 2445 Harvey Mitchell Pkwy. S in College Station; and from 33 State Hwy. 75 N in Huntsville to 2506 Pine Shadows Dr. in Huntsville.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Woodforest National Bank, based in The Woodlands, to establish a branch at 2108 N. Frazier St. in Conroe.

The TDB reports that it has approved applications by Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, to establish the following branches: 9651 Katy Fwy., Ste. 100, in Houston; and 1125 FM 544 in Wylie.

The TDB reports that First Bank, based in Burkburnett, has applied to establish a branch at 6836 Austin Center Blvd. in Austin.
