Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

Mergers and Acquisitions

The TDB reports that Columbus State Bank, based in Columbus, has applied to merge with Hill Bank & Trust Co., based in Weimar.

Branches

The OCC reports that First National Bank Texas, based in Killeen, has applied to establish the following branches: 10505 Broadway St. in Pearland and 3000 S. Jackson Rd. in Pharr.

The TDB reports that Prosperity Bank, based in El Campo, has applied to establish a branch at 10909 Slide Rd. in Lubbock.
