Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

November 28–December 4, 2021

Mergers and Acquisitions

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by The Hondo National Bank, based in Hondo, to merge with Community National Bank, based in Hondo, and operate under the new name TXN Bank National Association.

The TDB reports that Citizens State Bank, based in Somerville, has completed its acquisition of Burton State Bank, based in Burton.

Home Office Relocations

The TDB reports that Alliance Bank Central Texas, based in Waco, has applied to relocate its home office from 4721 Bosque Blvd. in Waco to an existing branch at 191 Archway Dr. in Waco and maintain the former home office as a branch.

Branches

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by First National Bank of East Texas, based in Gilmer, to establish a branch at 1701 N.W. Loop 281 in Longview.

The TDB reports that First State Bank of Uvalde, based in Uvalde, has applied to relocate a branch from 2100 E. Main St. in Uvalde to 2065 E. Main St. in Uvalde.

The TDB reports that Jefferson Bank, based in San Antonio, has established a branch at 8826 Bandera Rd. in San Antonio.

The TDB reports that Grandview Bank, based in Grandview, has established a branch at 2500 S.W. Wilshire Blvd. in Burleson.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Sage Capital Bank, based in Gonzales, to establish a branch at 12223 RR 620 N in Austin.
