Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

November 27–December 3, 2022

Mergers and Acquisitions

The TDB reports that Pinnacle Bank, based in Fort Worth, has completed its acquisition of Crockett National Bank, based in San Antonio.

Conversions

The TDB reports that First Liberty National Bank, based in Liberty, has converted to a state charter under the name First Liberty Bank.

Name Changes

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Security Bank of Crawford, based in Crawford, to change its name to Security Bank of Texas.

Home Offices

The TDB reports that ValueBank Texas, based in Corpus Christi, has applied to relocate its home office from 3649 Leopard St. in Corpus Christi to 5262 S. Staples St., Ste. 101, in Corpus Christi.

Branches

The OCC reports that Bank of America NA, based in Charlotte, North Carolina, has established a branch at 4830 FM 1463 Rd. in Katy.

The OCC reports that Extraco Banks NA, based in Temple, has established a branch at 4189 State Hwy. 6 N in College Station.

The OCC reports that First Financial Bank NA, based in Abilene, has applied to relocate a branch from Hwy. 21 E in Bryan to 1622 N. Earl Rudder Fwy. in Bryan.

The TDB reports that it has approved applications by Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, to establish the following branches: 1735 S. WW White Rd. in San Antonio; 498 E. Stacy Rd. in Allen; 14902 Preston Rd. in Dallas; and 5851 Long Prairie Rd. in Flower Mound.

The TDB reports that Comerica Bank, based in Dallas, has applied to establish a branch at 4145 S. Cooper St. in Arlington.

The TDB reports that Wallis Bank, based in Wallis, has applied to establish a branch at the intersection of University Blvd. and U.S. 59 Frontage Rd. in Sugar Land.

The TDB reports that Frontier Bank of Texas, based in Elgin, has applied to establish a branch at 813 N. Main St. in Taylor.
