Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

November 15–21, 2020

Mergers and Acquisitions

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by The First National Bank of Weatherford, based in Weatherford, to acquire First National Bank Baird, based in Baird.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by The City National Bank of Sulphur Springs, based in Sulphur Springs, to acquire The Morris County National Bank of Naples, based in Morris.

Branches

The OCC reports that American Bank National Association, based in Dallas, has established a branch at 8000 N. MacArthur Blvd. in Irving.

The OCC reports that Great Plains National Bank, based in Elk City, has established a branch at 6363 N. State Hwy. 161, Ste. 150, in Irving.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Lone Star National Bank, based in Pharr, to establish a branch at 129 FM 3167 Rd., Unit 10, in Rio Grande City.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Zions Bancorporation National Association, based in Salt Lake City, Utah, to relocate a branch from 3014 Monticello in Dallas to 3100 Monticello in Dallas.

The TDB and the FRBD report that Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, has applied to establish the following branches: 11839 Culebra Rd in San Antonio and 20002 Northwest Frwy. in Houston.

The TDB reports that First State Bank, based in Graham, has applied to establish a branch at 1220 N. Main St. in Jacksboro.
