Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

Mergers and Acquisitions

The TDB reports BOM Bank, based in Natchitoches, Louisiana, has acquired the following branches of American State Bank, based in Arp: 13218 U.S. Hw.y 84 E in Joaquin; 830 N. 1st St. in Timpson; 163 Casscaid St. in Center, TX; 3001 S. John Redditt Dr. in Lufkin; 1601 S. Chestnut St. in Lufkin; 304 Hwy. 69 S in Huntington; 113 Cade St. in Chester; 1700 N. Loop 336 W in Conroe, TX; and 1610 S. First St. in Lufkin.

Main Offices

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by American Bank NA to relocate its main office from 100 American Bank Plaza in Corpus Christi to 800 N. Shoreline Blvd. in Corpus Christi.

Branches

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by First National Bank Texas, based in Killeen, to establish a branch at 1192 W. Dallas, Ste. A, in Conroe.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by U.S. Bank NA, based in Cincinnati, Ohio, to establish a branch at 2101 Cedar Springs Rd., Ste. 1425, in Dallas.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by PNC Bank NA, based in Wilmington, Delaware, to establish a branch at 8031 Walnut Hill Ln. in Dallas. The agency also reports that PNC Bank has applied to relocate the following branches: from 1824 Abrams Rd. in Dallas to 6322 Gaston Ave. in Dallas and from 7047 Harrisburg Blvd., Bldg. A, in Houston, to 7003 Harrisburg Blvd., Ste. C, in Houston.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Security Bank of Texas, based in Crawford, to establish a branch at 101 W. Central Texas Expwy., Stes. C-D, in Harker Heights.
