After a 12-month renovation, North Dallas Bank & Trust Co. unveiled its “new” modernized corporate headquarters and banking facility on June 7 during a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony. Connected to North Dallas Bank & Trust’s iconic 12-story office tower, the Dallas banking center has been closed to the public—with banking operations relocated within the tower—since last June while undergoing an extensive renovation and improvement project. The upgrades include a complete redesign, reconfiguration and modernization of the bank lobby, teller lines, office space, executive suites, customer and employee lounges, and technologies, as well as a relocation of its drive-through banking facilities.
The reveal celebration for the new renovation, located at 12900 Preston Rd., included breakfast and coffee, tours of the bank, interviews with special guests and NDBT executives, and a sigh of relief that the project was accomplished during a challenging year hampered by the pandemic and subsequent supply-chain problems.
Among those in attendance for the ribbon-cutting were North Dallas Bank & Trust executives Larry Miller, president and CEO; Brandi Shiflett, chief operating officer; Allen Hudson, chief lending officer; and Jeff Crow, Dallas banking center president. Also present were executives from the bank’s design and construction partners Gensler and Pacific Builders; representatives from the Texas Department of Banking, Texas Bankers Association and Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.; and dignitaries from the North Dallas Chamber of Commerce and the Dallas Regional Chamber.
In 1960, North Dallas Bank & Trust first opened the doors to its iconic 12-story tower located at the corner of Preston Road and Forest Lane in Dallas with $2 million in total assets, three officers and seven employees. Today, the bank is celebrating 62 years in business with $1.7 billion in total assets, more than 160 employees and five banking centers located in Dallas, Addison, Frisco, Las Colinas and Plano.
