NBT Financial Bank Hires Beckelman, Potts and Batton

April 2, 2026

Fort Worth-based NBT Financial Bank announced three personnel changes in March.

Lee Beckelman has joined the bank as an advisory director. A graduate of the University of Texas–Austin, his past work experience includes positions at various banks, as well as several oil and gas companies. He currently serves as chief financial officer of Smart Sand Inc.

Taylor Potts has been appointed senior vice president/director of brand and marketing. He has more than 20 years of experience leading marketing and creative strategies for established consumer brands and has produced marketing campaigns for several local banks.

Angela Batton has joined the bank as vice president/branch manager at NBT Financial Bank’s Azle location. She has more than 15 years of experience leading branch operations, client relations and financial planning at local financial institutions.

Established in 1973, NBT Financial Bank currently has branches in Fort Worth, Azle, Burleson, Hurst and Willow Park. It will soon open a new Camp Bowie branch in Fort Worth and, later in the year, a branch in Grapevine.
