Moody Bank Opens New Austin Location with Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony

February 13, 2025

On February 10, Galveston-based Moody Bank opened its newest banking center in Austin, celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and hosted by the Austin Chamber of Commerce. The new location at 7900 Shoal Creek Blvd. expands Moody Bank’s presence to 14 branches across south and central Texas.

“With our move to a more accessible location in Austin, we’re striving to reach new heights in service and convenience,” says Victor Pierson, president and CEO. “This new branch is not just a physical space, but a commitment to enriching our customer relationships and bolstering community growth.”

The new banking center features a motor bank and drive-through ATM, as well as plenty of onsite free parking.

Established in 1907, Moody Bank’s 14 locations serve Galveston, Brazoria, Comal, Fort Bend, Harris and Travis counties.
