Mississippi’s BancorpSouth Hires Bain as Community Bank President in Sherman

August 30, 2021

Will BainTupelo, Mississippi-based BancorpSouth Bank has hired Will Bain as community bank president at its branch in Sherman, Texas. He has more than 11 years of banking experience, including work as a commercial lender and credit underwriter.

Bain earned a bachelor’s degree and an MBA degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University and is a student at the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University. An active volunteer in his community, he is president of the Lake Texoma Association.

“We are pleased Will has joined the BancorpSouth family as a community bank president,” says Randle Jones, president of the bank’s Grayson County, Texas market. “His wealth of experience and expertise, as well as his commitment to continuing education, will be a true asset to the bank.”

Established in 1876, BancorpSouth Bank operates approximately 315 full-service branch locations—as well as additional mortgage, insurance and loan production offices—in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee and Texas.
