Mississippi-based BancorpSouth Taps Odom as Community Bank President in McKinney

April 13, 2021

Jennifer OdomTupelo, Mississippi-based BancorpSouth Bank has named Jennifer Odom community bank president in McKinney. She oversees the banking operations of the McKinney Eldorado Parkway branch, as well as the bank’s local community involvement and business development efforts. Odom joined BancorpSouth in 2019 and has more than 17 years of experience in residential and commercial lending. She most recently served as a vice president and commercial lender.

Odom earned her BBA degree from Texas Tech University. She serves as treasurer for Community Education Outreach, a board member of Volunteer McKinney and civics chair for Leadership Alumni Network committee in McKinney.

“Jennifer has great insight on what the community needs,” says Tom Wilds, BancorpSouth president–Dallas division. “She is a great asset for our Dallas market president, Jim Habern, and the rest of the team.”

BancorpSouth operates approximately 305 full-service branches in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee and Texas.
