Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

May 8–14, 2022

Mergers and Acquisitions

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by The Commercial National Bank of Brady, based in Brady, to acquire a branch of Anthem Bank & Trust, based in Plaquemine, Louisiana. The branch is located at 8110 W. FM 1431 in Granite Shoals, Texas.

Branches

The OCC reports that Community National Bank, based in Midland, has applied to establish the following branches: 11807 Slide Rd. in Lubbock; and 8040 E. Hwy. 191 in Odessa.

The OCC reports that First National Bank Texas, based in Killeen, has relocated a branch from 509 Pecan St., Ste. 201, in Fort Worth to 500 E. 4th St., Ste. 200, in Fort Worth.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Guaranty Bank & Trust National Association, based in Mt. Pleasant, to relocate a branch from 120 W. 8th St. in Georgetown to 624 S. Austin Ave. in Georgetown.

The TDB reports that Susser Bank, based in Dallas, has applied to establish a branch at 1990 Post Oak Blvd., Ste. 110, in Houston.

The TDB reports that Prosperity Bank, based in El Campo, has applied to establish a branch at 6105 Sherwood Way in San Angelo.
