Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

May 7–13, 2023

Mergers and Acquisitions

The TDB reports that Texas Brand Bank, based in Dallas, has merged with Harmony Bank NA, based in Kemp.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by First State Bank of Livingston, based in Livingston, to merge with First National Bank of Jasper, based in Jasper.

Home Office Relocations

The TDB reports that ValueBank Texas, based in Corpus Christi, has relocated its home office from 3649 Leopard St. in Corpus Christi to 5262 S. Staples St., Ste. 101, in Corpus Christi.

Branches

The OCC reports that Texas National Bank, based in Mercedes, has established a branch at 1414 FM 802 (Ruben Torres) in Brownsville.

The OCC reports that Trustmark National Bank, based in Jackson, Mississippi, has established a branch at 6915A-3 FM 1960 Rd. W in Houston.

The OCC reports that Amerant Bank NA, based in Coral Gables, Florida, has applied to establish a branch at 2229 San Felipe St., Ste. 100, in Houston.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Wells Fargo Bank NA, based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to relocate a branch from 12200 Northwest Fwy. in Houston to 13280 Northwest Fwy. in Houston.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Worthington Bank, based in Arlington, to establish a branch at 1696 S. Loop 288 in Denton.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Wallis Bank, based in Wallis, to establish a branch at 1970 Satellite Blvd. in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

The TDB reports that Vista Bank, based in Dallas, has applied to establish a branch at 3835 PGA Blvd., Ste. 305, in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

The TDB reports that WestStar Bank, based in El Paso, has applied to establish a branch at 12300 Eastlake Blvd. in El Paso.
