Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

May 29–June 4, 2022

Mergers and Acquisitions

The TDB reports that The First State Bank, based in Rice, has applied to merge into The First National Bank of Kemp, based in Kemp.

Branches

The OCC reports that it has approved applications by PNC Bank National Association, based in Wilmington, Delaware, to establish the following branches: 3903 Ichabod Circle in Arlington; and 907 Bank St. in Dallas.

The OCC reports that First National Bank Albany/Breckenridge, based in Albany, has applied to establish a branch at 2307 E. Hubbard in Mineral Wells.

The TDB reports that Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, has applied to establish a branch at 2231 Singleton Rd. in Dallas.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Prosperity Bank, based in El Campo, to establish a branch at 6105 Sherwood Way in San Angelo.

The TDB reports that PlainsCapital Bank, based in University Park, has applied to establish a branch at 100 W. Mulberry St., Ste. 200, in Denton.

The TDB reports that Western Bank, based in Lubbock, has applied to establish a branch at 4800 Lexington Square in Amarillo.

The TDB reports that Jefferson Bank, based in San Antonio, has applied to establish a branch at 1900 Broadway St., Ste. 100, in San Antonio.
