Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

May 15–21, 2022

Branches

The OCC reports that JPMorgan Chase Bank National Association, based in Columbus, Ohio, has applied to establish a branch at the northwest corner of Maple Ave. and W. Mockingbird Lane in Dallas.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Texas Heritage National Bank, based in Daingerfield, to establish a branch at 795 U.S. Hwy. 271 N in Gilmer.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Amarillo National Bank, based in Amarillo, to establish a branch at 2703 82nd St. in Lubbock.

The OCC reports that VeraBank National Association, based in Henderson, has applied to establish the following branches: 200 River Point, Ste. 100, in Conroe; and 1111 W. 6th St., Bldg. B, Ste. 200, in Austin.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Cendera Bank National Association, based in Bells, to relocate a branch from 3740 Benbrook Hwy. in Fort Worth to 2912 W. 6th St. in Fort Worth.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by American First National Bank, based in Houston, to relocate a branch from 1912 Ave. K, Ste. 100, in Plano to the corner of State Hwy. 5, Ave. K and 19th St. in Plano.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Susser Bank, based in Dallas, to establish a branch at 1990 Post Oak Blvd., Ste. 110, in Houston.

The TDB reports that Lakeside Bank, based in Rockwall, has applied to establish a branch at 5950 Berkshire Lane, Ste. 825, in Dallas.
