Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

March 5–11, 2023

Mergers and Acquisitions

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Texas Brand Bank, based in Dallas, to acquire Harmony Bank NA, based in Kemp.

The TDB reports that First State Bank of Livingston, based in Livingston, has applied to merge with First National Bank of Jasper, based in Jasper.

Branches

The OCC reports that JPMorgan Chase Bank NA, based in Columbus, Ohio, has applied to establish a branch at the southeast corner of Saint Joseph Blvd. and Burnet Rd. in Austin.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by PNC Bank NA, based in Wilmington, Delaware, to establish a branch at 1810 E Peters Colony Rd. in Carrollton.

The OCC reports that First Financial Bank NA, based in Abilene, has relocated a branch from 33 State Hwy. 75 N in Huntsville to 2506 Pine Shadows Dr. in Huntsville.

The OCC reports that Wells Fargo Bank NA, based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, has relocated a branch from 40 N.E. LOOP 410 in San Antonio to 842 N.W. Loop 410 in San Antonio.

The TDB reports that Susser Bank, based in Dallas, has established a branch at 1990 Post Oak Blvd., Ste. 110, in Houston.

The TDB reports that Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, has applied to relocate a branch from 2443 Westheimer Rd. in Houston to 2604 Westheimer Rd. in Houston, TX.
