Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

March 3–9, 2024

Branches

The OCC reports that Woodforest National Bank, based in The Woodlands, has established a branch in the HEB at 16000 Woodland Hills Dr. in Humble.

The OCC reports that it has approved applications by JPMorgan Chase Bank NA, based in Columbus, Ohio, to establish the following branches: at the southwest corner of State Hwy. 46 W and Bulverde Crossing in Spring Branch and at the northwest corner of of FM 407 and I 35 W in Argyle.

The OCC reports that First American Trust FSB, based in Santa Ana, California, has relocated a branch from 25700 I-45 N, Ste. 410, in Spring to 1221 S. Mopac Expwy., Ste. 150, in Austin.

The TDB reports that The First State Bank, based in Louise, has established a branch at 200 Century Square Blvd. in Sugar Land.

The TDB reports that Independent Bank, based in McKinney, has established a branch at 2722 W. Bitters Rd., Ste. 126/128, in San Antonio.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Texas Capital Bank, based in Dallas, to establish a branch at 1538 E. Southlake Blvd. in Southlake.
