Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

March 20–26, 2022

Mergers and Acquisitions

The OCC reports that Home Bank National Association, based in Lafayette, Louisiana, has completed its acquisition of Texan Bank National Association, based in Houston.

The TDB reports that Veritex Community Bank, based in Dallas, has applied to acquire StoneCastle Insured Sweep LLC, based in New York, New York. StoneCastle Insured Sweep is the developer of interLINK, a technology-enabled deposit gathering and processing platform.

Branches

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Community National Bank, based in Midland, to establish a branch at 17855 N. Dallas Pkwy., Ste. 195, in Dallas.

The OCC reports that Amarillo National Bank, based in Amarillo, has applied to establish a branch at 1020 N.E. Loop 410 in San Antonio.

The OCC reports that The Yoakum National Bank, based in Yoakum, has applied to establish a branch at 3650 Billy Hext Rd. in Odessa.

The TDB reports that Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, has applied to establish a branch at 6545 Hwy. 6 N in Houston.

The TDB reports that Independent Bank, based in McKinney, has applied to relocate a branch from 930 11th Ave. in Greeley, Colorado, to 1130 8th Ave., Ste. 4, in Greeley, Colorado.
