Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

March 2–8, 2025

Mergers and Acquisitions

The OCC reports that The First National Bank of Eldorado, based in Eldorado, has applied to acquire a branch of Western Bank, based in Lubbock. The branch is located at 100 S. Main St. in Loraine.

Home Offices

The TDB reports that Victory Bank, based in Lubbock, has applied to relocate its home office from 4710 4th St. in Lubbock to 4401 Marsha Sharp Fwy. in Lubbock.

Branches

The OCC reports that The Brenham National Bank, based in Brenham, has established a branch at 4466 State Hwy. 6 S in College Station.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Amarillo National Bank, based in Amarillo, to establish a branch at 8602 Pineridge Dr. in Amarillo.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, to establish a branch at 3000 Golden Triangle Blvd. in Fort Worth.

The TDB reports that Jefferson Bank, based in San Antonio, has applied to establish a branch at 7373 Broadway in San Antonio.

The TDB reports that Southside Bank, based in Tyler, has applied to establish a branch at 1839 S. SW Loop 323 in Tyler.
