Louisiana-based Origin Bank Taps Houston-based Gregg as Chief Compliance Officer

Brandi M. GreggOn May 16, Choudrant, Louisiana-based Origin Bank announced that it has hired Brandi M. Gregg to serve as executive vice president and chief compliance officer. She will office at Origin Bank’s Memorial Financial Center in Houston.

Gregg has more than 34 years of banking experience, specializing in regulatory compliance risk management for the majority of her career. In her new role at Origin Bank, she is responsible for providing oversight to the compliance risk program, including enterprise compliance strategy, structure and process. In addition, she will advise operational lines of business in the development of compliance-centric operating policies and procedures.

An active member of her community, Gregg founded and currently serves as chair of the Houston Area Compliance Officer’s Council. She previously served as president of the Credit Coalition and was an officer for Gulf Coast AML Forum.

“Brandi will play a pivotal role in helping to execute the bank’s strategic objectives,” says Jim Crotwell, chief risk officer. “Her extensive experience and deep understanding of the intricacies of regulatory compliance make her a tremendous asset to Origin’s executive leadership team.”

Established in 1912, Origin Bank operates 60 banking centers in Dallas/Fort Worth, East Texas, Houston, North Louisiana and Mississippi.
