Longtime Dallas Banker Wayne Fogle Passes Away

March 7, 2021

Wayne FogleWayne Fogle, a longtime Dallas banker, passed away at his home on February 23. He was 85. Fogle began his banking career at Midland National Bank after serving in the Finance Corp of the U.S. Army. In 1965, he moved to Dallas where he continued his banking career at Hampton State Bank, Trinity National Bank, Lakewood Bank, Sunbelt Savings and Wynnewood Bank.

In 1995, Fogle left banking and started Compliance Professionals Inc. and ATM USA Safety Inc. He traveled the state of Texas conducting ATM safety evaluations until 2010 when he sold Compliance Professionals to his son-in-law, Dennis Breen. Fogle continued to operate ATM USA Safety Inc. until 2020.

During his banking career, Fogle served on the board of the American Institute of Banking (1976–78), as president of the Dallas chapter of the Bank Administration Institute (1980–81) and as a director of the Dallas Area Compliance Association (2000–05).
